Coaching can help you make positive changes to your life. I weave in therapeutic techniques when useful so that you don't need to leave any part of you out. If we encompass the whole of you- not just the outer layer we get better results as the inner layers wield the power. Together we can discover your strengths.
Coaching will help you look at what you want to achieve, set your goals and then focus on strategies to achieve them. This may be purely related to your business or it may be about other life ambitions, such as improving relationships, work/life balance or writing a book.
Whatever it entails, I will help you uncover your hidden strengths and become more aware of where your weaknesses lie so that you can either avoid them or develop strategies to mitigate them. As you develop greater self-awareness and push yourself through challenges you should find that your confidence and satisfaction will grow and you can take more control over your life.
I will help you find out what it is that you really want: all too often we think we know what we want yet once we've achieved it somehow it isn't quite as life- fulfilling as we thought it would be.
You will work with me in a collaborative, predominantly future-focussed process, that will not ignore difficulties. As an experienced therapist I do not need to ignore what it is that makes you who you are, but help you turn it to your advantage. If you think it would benefit you to take a bit if time to look at what is stopping you forge ahead then we can do that using the Personal Consultancy model. Then we can check that you are back on track and work together to determine what steps you need to take next. I will support you all the way through.
Life has a habit of changing around us, and as a business professional you will need to respond to this to remain at the top of your game. If you decide you want to adjust your goals half-way through, or add to them we will work that into the process.
We will work in a time-limited way, with clear aims and guidelines that leave you in control at all times. If you don't know where you want to get to how will you know you have arrived?
This entirely depends on you; what you want, what your starting point is and how much time and energy you are willing to put into getting what you want. I will encourage you to make your own path. Initially you may want to have more regular sessions (perhaps weekly or fortnightly) as you work out your goals and develop a strong understanding of how you will go about the steps need to get you there. Then you may have them monthly over a period of 6 months or a year depending upon the time you think it will take you to achieve what you set out to. If in the meantime you want work unblocking some deeper sticking points you have the option to revert to more regular sessions again within the Personal Consultancy framework. It is always up to you to determine what you think will be most useful for you. I work in a flexible and supportive way, encouraging you to pay attention to what changes you could make to enable you to reach your goals. What you need to provide is a sense of dedication and commitment to yourself and the process.
Let's be honest- you may feel after an intial chat that we are not a good fit- and I would encourage you to listen to your gut instinct. If, however, you feel we could work well together then you can rest assured that I will always have your best interests at heart. I will be here to support and champion you- although I will also be here to challenge you should I suspect your beliefs or behaviours are keeping you from your goals.
I have worked with hundred of people over several decades, from those who have founded highly successful business and lifestyles to those with the severest of mental health difficulties who simply want to find more peace of mind or improve their relationships.
It is not important to me how "successful" you either are or aren't. What is important to me is how true you are able to be to yourself- whether you have the courage to face all the parts of yourself and challenge those that aren't helping you; whether you are willing to push through your barriers and dare to reach for your dreams.
And just because your journey may involve "work " doesn't mean that it can't be fun!
