I provide therapy and counselling for issues that may be affecting your quality of life. Specialisms include trauma, PTSD, anxiety, burn-out, phobias and relationship difficulties. With over 30 years of experience I am here to help you explore your difficulties with compassion & kindness.
I provide on-line consultations to the UK and internationally, and in-person sessions for clients living locally to my office in Gillingham, N. Dorset.

People come to therapy for all kinds of reasons, and very few of them arrive with a neat explanation of what's wrong. Often it's more of a feeling — that something isn't right, that you're not quite yourself, or that you've been managing for a long time and you're tired of it.
Some of the things people bring to Fullstop Therapy:
Anxiety — the kind that hums in the background constantly, or arrives suddenly and without warning. Worry that won't switch off. A body that feels permanently braced.
Trauma — whether it stems from something that happened recently or something you've carried since childhood. Flashbacks, numbness, hypervigilance, or simply a life that feels harder than it should.
Overwhelm — feeling like you're keeping it together on the outside but running on empty. Not sleeping well. Snapping at people you love. Going through the motions.
Relationships — patterns that keep repeating, difficulty trusting people, feeling disconnected from the people closest to you.
A sense that something needs to change — even if you can't quite put your finger on what. A feeling that you've outgrown something, or that you've been putting yourself last for too long.
You don't need to arrive with a diagnosis or a clear story. Many people find the words once they're in the room — that's part of what therapy is for.

Counselling can help you understand your emotions and behaviours and work through them to develop a healthier way to engage with yourself and others. I specialise in trauma therapy, stress and anxiety. Integrative counselling draws on theoretic models of counselling such as such as CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), solution-focused, psychotherapy, Gestalt, NLP, transactional analysis and person centred.
EMDR is an effective therapy to help diminish the power of distressing memories and trauma responses. It is useful for phobias, panic attacks, anxiety, nightmares and PTSD symptoms.
Coaching is useful if you are self-motivated and want to bring out the best in yourself. I will help you explore your desires and find your own way to achieve them. Many success people use a coach to help support them on their journey as it helps them stay motivated and work through the challenges. This can be blended with therapeutic techniques if you need to "unstick" blocks in your coaching journey. (This is a progressive method known as Personal Consultancy).
